This drawing was completed in June of 2005, during my grandfather's 7 day hospitilization and surgery for colon cancer. My grandfather was very blessed to have made it through the surgery without any complications and has fully recovered. Today, he is cancer free and has just celebrated his 82nd birthday. This ink drawing helped to pass the time, and is a tribute to him.

He is doing fine. Thankfully, he had wonderful doctors and surgeons that caught it in time. He did not have to undergo chemo or radiation. In fact, he was up and about in about 3 weeks.
